Meet Nelusha Savandi Ariyaratne
Physiotherapist
Focused on evidence-based care, Nelusha helps people manage injuries, improve mobility, and return to the activities they enjoy. She holds a Bachelor of (Hons) in Physiotherapy from General Sir Kotelawala University in Sri Lanka and has also completed a Master of Public Health at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia.
Approach to Care
Nelusha takes a holistic, patient-centred approach to physiotherapy. She focuses on understanding each person’s goals and lifestyle, tailoring care to their unique needs. By combining hands-on therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and education, she empowers people to actively participate in their recovery and long-term wellbeing.
Areas of Interest
She has a particular interest in musculoskeletal injuries, geriatric conditions, workplace-related injuries, and rehabilitation physiotherapy. Nelusha uses a variety of techniques including manual therapy, movement retraining, exercise prescription, and dry needling, applying whichever combination best suits the individual.
Professional Fulfilment
For Nelusha, the most rewarding part of her role is seeing patients regain mobility, reduce discomfort, and return to the activities they enjoy. Whether it’s getting back into sport, walking without limitation, or improving daily function, she values being part of her patients’ progress.
Life Outside the Clinic
When she’s not at work, Nelusha enjoys gym training, dance classes, cooking, trying out new restaurants in Perth, and spending time with family and friends. She also loves staying active outdoors and exploring her local community.
