A Calm, Patient-Centred Approach

Known for making time for her patients, Dr Tanja listens carefully, takes a thorough history, and asks you to show her the movements that feel limited or uncomfortable. This helps her build a clearer picture of what may be contributing to your symptoms and what your body is currently finding challenging.

She is honest and clear about what to expect, including what may be typical for your presentation and how care is usually planned in the early stages. Dr Tanja believes patients should feel informed and in control, with practical steps that support steady progress.

Building Confidence In Movement

Dr Tanja enjoys helping people feel calmer and more capable in their bodies, especially when pain makes movement feel uncertain. She focuses on gradual, guided loading and simple strategies that encourage you to keep moving within your comfort level, using your body’s feedback as a guide.

Her approach may include hands-on care, education, and evidence-informed rehabilitation strategies to support mobility, strength, and day-to-day function. She has a particular interest in supporting active people to stay mobile, build resilience, and maintain independence over time.

Dr Tanja holds an ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning qualification and encourages resistance training as part of a well-rounded routine. A lifelong anatomy enthusiast, she also teaches anatomy to first-year science students at Murdoch University.

Outside the clinic, Dr Tanja enjoys strength training, netball, tennis, good coffee, and exploring Western Australia with her family- she is a proud mum of two teenagers.
